About the manufacturer

Engineered and made in Canada since 1998

Filtrabox is manufactured by PAT Technology Systems, a Canadian filtration technology company that has been engineering source-capture and air purification systems for industrial applications since 1998. Engineering and production happen in house at our facility in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, which is how we keep control of quality end to end. We build for OEMs and for individual shops, and we pioneered the modular laser fume extractor design that lets you replace one filter stage instead of the whole cartridge.

Filtrabox systems are designed and built by PAT Technology, not sourced and rebadged. Every design decision below exists to solve a specific extraction problem.

High-efficiency filtration

F9 pre-filtration, HEPA rated at 99.999% on 0.3 micron particles, and gas-phase carbon where the application produces gases rather than just particulate.

Source capture

Fume is captured where it is generated, at the arc or the tip, before it disperses into the room. Capture distance does more for air quality than raw airflow.

Modular filtration

Each stage is replaced independently. The pre-filter loads first and costs least, which is what protects the HEPA behind it, so you are not throwing away good media to replace spent media.
